JC’s Alien Babies

You probably heard of Disney’s 2012 big budget flop John Carter. I’ve recently watched the science fiction fantasy western and was not disappointed. That would be for the first 35 minutes only. This is when the film is still set on earth, John gets transported to Mars and mingles with the cutest alien babies ever.

John Carter finds an alien baby hatch, gets picked up with them, brought into town and they get good washing before being held in some sort of dungeon. Anyways, this is where it gets really interesting as for a short moment it looks like JC would have an alien encounter of a very special kind. Sadly, he is not into breastfeeding them! Have a look at the cute and just slighty sexy pictures below.

Lana

Yes, I dressed up as Cloud Atlas for Halloqween. I had been intrigued by the trailer when I decided on the costume.

As you probably know the movie is directed by the Wachowski-Matrix siblings and Tom Tykwer. My fascination with Lana Wachowski started when Mary introduced me to her pink dreads. Want that hair so badly. Lana and her brother haven’t been in the celerity news for years. That changed when they started the promo for Cloud Atlas.

Then Lana Wachowski won the Human Rights Campaign Visibility Award. Her speech hit the interwebs last week. It starts with a little story about her hairdresser and just gets better and better.

Lana’s part starts at 4:39.

Wildness

Rooted in the tropical underground of Los Angeles nightlife, WILDNESS is a documentary portrait of the Silver Platter, a historic bar in the MacArthur Park area that has been home for Latin/LBGT immigrant communities since 1963. With a magical-realist flourish, the bar itself becomes a character, narrating what happens when a group of young artists create a weekly performance art/dance party (organized by director Wu Tsang and DJs NGUZUNGUZU & Total Freedom) called Wildness, which explodes into creativity and conflict. What does “safe space” mean, and who needs it? And how does it differ among us? At the Silver Platter, the search for answers to these questions creates coalitions across generations.

The Skin I Live In

Pedro Almodovar’s new movie The Skin I Live In will have it’s premiere in Cannes next week. The film’s poster could also be an ad for Bodyworlds. This better be a good sign. Apparently the movie is based on Thierry Jonquet’s novel “Mygale”, this revenge tale tells the story of a plastic surgeon on the hunt for the men who raped his daughter. It’s also the first time in 21 years that Antonio Banderas is going to be featured in an Almodovar film.

In this still from the movie actress Elena Anaya looks like she’s wearing a Margiela bodysuit.
I mean I have not seen one from La Maison MM like this, but couldn’t it be?

Rise!

Helllllo, I'm huuuur!

‘Rise of the Apes’ is set in present day San Francisco where man’s experiments with genetic engineering lead to the development of intelligence of apes and the onset of a war for supremacy. (source)

That is the sentence that got me into the apes almost a year ago. I had forgotten about it up until I found the trailer today. And now it stars James Franco. Hopefully, there is an ape – human sex scene!
Anyways, I’m very much entertained by the fun-romantic-creepiness picture above.

Watch the trailer or here.
