16 April 2008 | My Favourite Sandals

A couple of years ago, I saw these Martin Margiela sandals at a shop in Cologne, but they were not available in my size. Now, I found them online, again, not my size. And I’m not that crazy (yet), that I’d buy them 3 or 4 sizes too small.
The black leather tabi sandals are to be worn with clear tape wrapped repeatedly around the sole and foot. By using different colored and patterned tape everytime I’d wear them, I’d have a new shoe in seconds.
The closest thing (and still a far stretch) that I found in my size are the sandals below. I might have to get them. Just to get piece of mind. For one week.

You really need to work on getting a foot reduction. I hear that’s a specialty in Cologne.
