September 7 is the UK start date for A Bucket o’ French and Saunders airing on BBC1. The comedy TV show will feature classic and new sketches by the duo. According to a recent interview French & Saunders seem be parting ways after their Farewell tour next spring.
No time to cry, though. Both of them have new shows lined up. The Life and Times of Vivienne Vyle by Jennifer Saunders sounds especially promising. It is described as a black somedy, show-within-a-show following the adventures of TV host Vivienne Vyle (source). One more good thing: Showcase Canada is premiering the series September 2nd.
